3/28/2024 0 Comments Zapier airtable twitterThis is an optional step! Or you can simply come back at a later stage and edit the template to add some custom design elements. If you want to, you can customize the template at this stage, for example add your company logo etc: (or grab the yellow one with center-aligned text, it's up to you)Īdd it to your new Podcast Studio project. Grab the template named Podcast Clip Alt: There is a ready made template in Bannerbear for this tutorial in the template library: Create the Bannerbear projectĬreate a new project in Bannerbear called "Podcast Studio" (or any other name you like). This is the final step before the video gets rendered. This view will only show data when you have approved the row. Set up another view in Airtable like this: This is the first step that Zapier sees, essentially. This view will only show data when you have filled in the author, the author photo, and uploaded an audio file. Set up a view in your Airtable like this: In order to achieve this we use the Views feature of Airtable. But we don't want to trigger Zapier until certain conditions are met, otherwise we might send Zapier an incomplete data set. Create Airtable viewsĪirtable views are how we are going to manage the data through different stages.įor example, we want to trigger Zapier when we add new data to this Airtable. That's how Bannerbear works with Airtable, each column (or at least, the ones you want to import) maps to a layer in your template. If you add more dynamic layers to the video template later in the tutorial, you will need to add a corresponding column to your Airtable. In this tutorial we will generate one video per row of the sheet, but I will provide instructions at the end for a multiple video workflow. The number of videos you can generate from a single audio clip is up to you. The sheet also needs some columns to receive data - a column for the auto transcription, and a column (or columns!) to receive the final videos. Author name, author photo and an audio clip. The Bannerbear templates we will use later in this tutorial take a few inputs. Lets get started! Create an Airtable base The templates are completely customizable, you can change the layout, the fonts, the colors etc - we will get to that in a later step :) Here's an example of the videos that get created automatically by this workflow: Here's what your Airtable base will look like and how it will work: The final video files are placed back in your Airtable.Bannerbear transcribes and animates your audio clips automatically. You upload audio clips to your Airtable. In this tutorial you will set up a Zapier automated workflow so that: Now you can completely automate that process! What you will build You'll share the whole thing on your marketing channels of course, but you also want to take some of the highlights and create short, catchy clips to share throughout the week / month on your social channels.īut not anymore. Here's the scenario: you just recorded an hour long podcast. Hope this gives some insight into why our Twitter integration is not currently suited to accomplish the goal, but I’d encourage others to post here if they try using Webhooks with Twitter’s V2 API.This tutorial will show you how to automatically turn short audio clips into animated, captioned videos ready for sharing on social media. But our team will be sure to review we'll be sure to continue tracking user interest in eventually supporting v2 of Twitter's API once it is feasible. Note: I see that v2 is still an "Early Access" only version, so I'm not 100% sure it is possible to upgrade our current Twitter integration to v2.0 at the moment. If you did happen to have access to V2 of the Twitter API yourself, you might be able to use Webhooks by Zapier to engage with V2 of the API in a Zap. do not believe `conversation_id` is backwards-compatible in v1.1. My assumption based on what I've read is that you wouldn't be able to use conversation_id in our current Twitter integration, since we are still on V1.1, as discussed in this Community post. They announced the conversation_id parameter will allow developers and users of their API to better retrieve and handle Twitter threads. I did some digging through Twitter's docs, and it sounds like with their newer V2 of their API, they have noted that "t he current functionality of the Twitter API v1.1 makes it difficult to efficiently retrieve a full conversation thread.". Thanks again for writing into our Support team! Summarizing our findings on this inquiry for broader awareness / future discussion.
